Magrez Tivoli is located in the commune of Saint-Christoly Médoc, one of the finest wine growing areas in the Médoc. Its old vines are planted on a historically rich “terroir” that was also a stop on the pilgrim road to Santiago de Compostela. Magrez Tivoli is a rich, intense and complex wine with great structure. You’ll find this wine very pleasurable with a roast dinner of red meat particularly beef.
Bernard Magrez Chateau Plaisance Cuvee Alix Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux 2010
A wine by Bernard Magrez. Château Plaisance is an XVIIIth century country manor on a beautiful 40 hectare estate that formerly belonged to the famous Bordeaux restaurateur Dubern. The wine is seductive, round and generous with red and blackberry fruit flavours intertwined with notes of pepper, smoke and coffee. A good depth and length. This wine scores 88/100 by Robert Parker and received a Bronze Medal by Decanter World Wine Awards.
The vineyard of Mon Seul Rêve is located in Estagel. The town of Estagel, a winegrowing centre, is located near the Corbières appellation, at the gateway of the Cathar country, in the French Pyrénées. This wine is luscious with rich flavors of blackberry, black currant and caramel. A seductive smokey aroma, with elegant spicy notes of white pepper leading to chocolate on the finish.
